Certified Public Accountants
Valentine Seevers and Associates, P.C. (VSA) originated in 1962 in Denver, Colorado. A second office was opened in Evergreen, Colorado a few years later, and is now the sole office for the firm. The firm has one shareholder as part of a competent staff of four CPAs with additional support staff making our's the largest CPA practice in Evergreen.
The firm strives to provide excellent client service through various accounting and consulting services to quality clients with the highest degree of competence and professionalism. The staff is continuously enrolled in professional education to stay abreast of current law, tax efficient strategies and accounting practices.

Types of services our firm offers
Auditing
The firm performs audits of financial statements for Governmental districts, non-profit organizations and small, closely held for profit entities. As an integral part of our work to express an opinion on client financial statements, we also review the overall client financial operation. This process often results in recommendations for improvement. Our clients have found that the firm's Management Letters have been valuable to improving their operations. In many situations, the recommendations have decreased operating costs and/or increased revenues substantially. It is this characteristic of helping clients improve that has given Valentine Seevers and Associates, PC a quality reputation. We also provide review and compilation services for clients not needing a comprehensive audit.
Tax Services
The largest single element of VSA's practice is tax services. Our tax services consist more than preparing income tax returns. We can provide complete tax services including important tax planning, key follow up advice, transaction planning, keeping clients informed of new tax matters, advising on pension and profit sharing plans, preparing estate, sales and payroll tax returns and providing significant ideas on how to manage taxable income. The firm has an excellent reputation for playing a key role in estate and gift tax planning, participating with client attorneys and bank trust officers.
Management Advisory Services
Most of Valentine Seevers and Associates, PC's management advisory services results from our audit engagements. However, we also undertake major assignments separate from any other related engagement. These services include, but are not limited to:

- Investment consulting (We believe that our role is one of a trusted advisor to our clients. Therefore we are not brokers and choose to remain independent in regards to providing investment consulting to our clients. We help our clients determine tax efficient investment strategies, provide overall investment allocation and overall wealth management advice. We often describe our investment consulting services as an independent second opinion to your regular broker, or wealth manager.)

Complete Small Business Services
For many businesses, Valentine Seevers and Associates, PC can provide complete computerized accounting services that may normally be performed by in-house client accounting personnel. This service involves keeping a complete record of all financial activity. Clients submit check vouchers or check stubs, revenue records, accounts receivable invoices or summaries, liability documents, and other key data. In return, a cash journal, general ledger, payroll register, various subsidiary journals, and monthly financial statements are prepared by the firm. Any component of the above mentioned services can be performed independently. Clients who use this service range from newly established businesses to well established companies who prefer to convenience of not having to hire and supervise in-house accounting employees.
Staff Qualifications:
Valentine Seevers and Associates, PC select only experienced professional staff to work in our offices. All clients are assured that only personnel with excellent academic qualifications, tempered with invaluable experience, will be assigned to any accounting engagement. It is a firm policy that no junior accountant be solely responsible for any client assignment.
